Dentaa has supported this annual event, that aims to engage young people with the assistance of their supporters, role models, ambassadors and collaborative community groups.
GUBA has partnered with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's Chevening scheme to help the UK government attract the best and brightest future leaders from Ghana to further their education in the UK under a Chevening Scholarship.

Although Ghana and the UK share historical links, the two countries also share geographic links as they both fall on the Greenwich Meridian. Dentaa has been instrumental in developing ties between the Ghana and the Royal Borough of Greenwich, having taken a delegation from Greenwich Council to Ghana, held the GUBA Expo in Greenwich. Greenwich is twinned with Tema, and the University of Greenwich also has a partnership with the University of Ghana which facilitates academic exchange between the two institutions.

Expertise

Dentaa is especially interested in collaborating with people who are working towards the betterment of Africa and its people, through creating opportunities to export the successes, the products, and ideas coming out of Africa to audiences in the UK.

She has experience in social entrepreneurship, creating bridges between African and western cultures, event management, public relations, sports marketing, talent management, and TV format development, as well as maintaining strong interests in the development and NfP sectors.

Sports management

Dentaa was the PR and marketing manager of Asamoah Gyan, the captain of Ghana's national football team, and the leading African goalscorer in World Cup history. She was involved with his sporting, commercial, philanthropic, and media activities.


Dentaa was appointed as a special adviser to the Ghana Secretariat for the Brazil 2014 World Cup, where she advised on marketing and PR issues under Ghana's Ministry of Youth and Sport.


Dentaa has had a massive input in promoting Arthur Wharton, the world's first black professional footballer, with Shaun Campbell. Dentaa has worked with Rachel Yankey, a footballer of Ghanaian heritage and the most capped England player of all time.

Dentaa has worked closely with the Ghana High Commission London and the British High Commission Accra to strengthen trade and investment ties between these two old friends.


Dentaa holds several business interests herself spanning from events management, TV production, and personal brand management, and uses knowledge gained and contacts made to help other Africa-focused SMEs access mainstream markets.

Dentaa has a TV career which spans over 10 years. From presenter of a magazine show on a cable channel, she smoothly evolved into producing her own talk show series The Dentaa Show and Dinner with Dentaa, where she interviews African celebrities.


Dentaa has also presented TV programmes in Ghana, and regularly appears as a guest on talk shows and current affairs programming in the UK and Ghana.
