Dentaa MBE to host Football Business workshop in Johannesburg

Dentaa MBE will host a Football Business workshop in Johannesburg on 17th July 2016 as part of a four-day project dubbed “Paintsil Peace Kids Project (PPKP) Fiesta” billed for the Mthatha Stadium in South Africa. 

The PPKP was established by the Ghanaian International footballer John Paintsil former West Ham, Fulham and Leciester City defender. The project is open to children across the African continent. The fiesta will serve as a backdrop for community involvement. It will become a signature event on the African continent and football calendar. The fiesta also acknowledges the legends of the beautiful game and the Media at large with its contribution. 

The project will start on 16th July and finish 18th July 2016 and is open to children across the African continent under the theme: “We play for peace and road safety.” This will also encourage the youth to participate in sport. 

John Paintsil the founder of the PPKP fiesta says this event is much bigger and better than any other football fiesta. There will be a celebrity match With the teams made up of Professional footballers from different parts of the African continent and some PSL Players. 

The rule: A goal from the non-footballers /celebrity team is equal to 3 goals. The pro team will need 3 goals to equalize. The organizers have planned to accommodate more than 10 000 revellers with the star studded teams and entertainment line-up. 

The entertainment line-up consists of the hottest artists and Dj’s that Mzansi can offer. This event will be graced by some international guests such as Stephen Appiah, Laryea Kingston, El Hadji Diof,Pascal Chimbonda and Emmanuel Eboue. 

Dentaa the founder and CEO OF GUBA enterprise who has recently been awarded an MBE in Her Majesty The Queen; Elizabeth II's 2016 Birthday Honors said "This project is a fantastic initiative and delighted to be involved by helping children and athletes with the needed resources and knowledge that will allow them to succeed in today's modern game".

The project will also coincide with the 67 Minutes of Mandela on the 18th July and there will be a special tour around the birthplace of the late former President Nelson Mandela to pay homage to the legacy and the contribution he made in the struggle against the apartheid system.
